“Classrooms”

 Kim Shostak, of Lancaster, California:

I just want to tell you how beautiful your music is and how much I enjoy sharing it with my students over these past few years. I have taught all grades and I also sub on my ‘off’ track times. Shaina, there is not a soul that isn’t soothed by your gentleness. I teach “How Could Anyone” and “Its a Joy to get to know You” in sign language to all my students. I teach “Its a joy” on the first day of school.

Shaina, every single child responds (and most grown-ups are usually sobbing by the time we are done performing!) Hundreds of children and adults have been touched by your beautiful words and music. Maybe a few of these hundreds have in some way shared this beauty with others… you know, how things ripple.
