I was invited to write this song to follow a guided meditation for healing conception-through-birth trauma. Originally part of a CD offering the meditation and the song, it is now available as a song single, for download or streaming.
Sung as a duet with my husband, Richard, the intent of the song is to provide a deeply nurturing and affirming welcome to the world, sung with the loving voices of a mother and father. The song is similar to a lullaby; a slow pace, with a gentle, calming energy.
A Place For You Here offers a re-parenting experience, that can be deeply healing if you had a difficult beginning to your life. Many people find tears arising as they listen; healing tears, that can wash away layers of trauma and loss that may remain if you felt less than unconditionally loved and welcome when you began this life.
As someone who had a difficult beginning to my own life, it touches me deeply to have been called to write and record this song. I love knowing it is available as a resource, for anyone who might be gifted by the energy and message that it offers.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I ordered and listened to this, thinking it would be good for my clients struggling with low self-esteem. Having been loved and clearly wanted, I was deeply moved–and surprised–at my own emotions when I listened to this recording. So many negative factors I’d never considered were included and eliminated–leaving only Unconditional Love, Joy and Celebration. What a wonderful gift I received, and will be able to offer to others. The beautiful and loving welcoming lullaby, sung by Richard and Shaina Noll filled my heart and uplifted me. I love that both the masculine and feminine aspects of Creation are included.
I highly recommend A Place For You Here, and Shaina Noll’s Songs for the Inner Child (One of my favorite songs from that album is How Could Anyone) for healers and seekers of Wholeness.

The song, A Place For You Here, has been profoundly moving and healing for me. Each time I listen to it I have a different experience, starting with my first time when I sobbed the whole way through just digesting the energy of unconditional love. Repeated listenings have sometimes been drier but no less embracing and healing. I would recommend this for anyone on a journey of inner healing, anyone reaching for a deeper sense of safety and belonging in the world, anyone wanting greater freedom from unconscious, limiting patterns. The music Shaina and Richard created is, as usual, beautifully done from beginning to end. I expect to wear out my copy!
