I have loved singing as long as I can remember. My original training was in acting, and it was in BFA and MFA theatre programs that I received much of my vocal training. In 1978, during what turned out to be my last year of acting training, I had some powerful spiritual experiences that disrupted and powerfully changed the direction of my life.

Over time, my interest in healing, consciousness and the spiritual realms of life became so compelling that I gave up acting as my path. I was inspired to study transpersonal psychology, and received a master’s degree from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Menlo Park, California in 1984.

I moved to Santa Fe in 1985, married Richard Noll and gave birth to my children in 1985 and 1989. I spent years singing my children to sleep, with a repertoire of chants I had learned at ITP, songs I made up, and traditional lullabies that I loved.

In 1991, while singing to my son one night, I had a clear and dramatic inspiration come to me: “Consider the possibility that the songs you sing to your children could be a gift to adults who were never sung to …”. That was the seed that flowered into Songs For The Inner Child,  and began a deeply fulfilling new direction in my life. Songs For The Inner Child was released in 1992, and my three other CD’s released between 1995 and 2016, along with a single, A Place For You Here, that was released in 2007.

Being inspired to combine my love of singing with my deep interest in healing and the journey of spiritual awakening has been a profound gift in my life. The creation of each CD has been its own rich adventure that challenged me to grow, heal and become more conscious, contributing deeply to my own spiritual journey.

Knowing that the songs have gifted so many people around the world has been a truly awesome experience for me, one that has completely fulfilled a deep and abiding desire to be useful and make a real contribution to the world. I am also a writer, offering insights into the nature of  your life’s journey through what I call Life Path Profiles. These draw upon a system I learned from Angeles Arrien when I was studying for my masters degree. These insights have been a priceless gift in my own life;  I have been refining and clarifying the content over 35 years, and love being able to make them available through the Life Path Profile documents.  Like my music, my Life Path Profiles are offered with the intent to deepen self-acceptance, inner peace, and trust that we live in a spiritual universe and all is well.
